Carlos Dunlap Madden Career 2011-2020 - Peak 90 OVR

Carlos Dunlap arrived in Cincinnati as a second-round steal, 54th overall in 2010 out of Florida, where he was the defensive MVP of the January 2009 BCS title game. He immediately set a Bengals rookie record with 9.5 sacks, then spent the next decade turning his length and heavy hands into the most sacks in franchise history.

He left Cincinnati as its all-time sack leader and kept adding to the pile in Seattle and Kansas City, retiring with an even 100 career sacks and 22 forced fumbles across 197 games. Two Pro Bowls, in the 2015 and 2016 seasons, undersold how often he wrecked a pocket. At six foot six he could bat passes at the line as easily as he could bend the edge.

His Madden climb tracked the breakout. He was a raw 74 in the 2010 edition, jumped to 85 the following year, and reached a career-best 90 in the 2014 game. He stayed in the 80s for most of the decade before easing to 78 in the 2021 version.
