Darren McFadden: 5,421 rushing yards in ten NFL seasons

Darren McFadden was born on August 27, 1987 in Little Rock, Arkansas, played three seasons at Arkansas, where he won the Doak Walker Award twice and finished second in Heisman Trophy voting in 2006 and again in 2007, and was drafted fourth overall by the Oakland Raiders in 2008. He rushed for 499 yards as a rookie, and Madden NFL 09 listed him at 85 for the 2008 season.

In 2010 he rushed for 1,157 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games and added three receiving touchdowns. Against Denver on October 24 he ran for 165 yards and three scores and caught a fourth. Madden NFL 11 listed him at 77 for that 2010 season. He led the NFL in rushing through six weeks of 2011 before a chronic foot condition ended his season, and Madden NFL 13 put him at 91 for the 2012 season.

McFadden never started all 16 games in a season, and his career high was 13 starts in 2010. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2015 and rushed for 1,089 yards, the second of his two 1,000-yard seasons, and Madden NFL 17 listed him at 79 for the 2016 season. He retired in November 2017 with 5,421 rushing yards, 28 rushing touchdowns and 254 receptions, and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
