Stephen Hauschka Madden Career 2010-2020 - Peak 89 OVR

Stephen Hauschka was born on June 29, 1985 in Needham, Massachusetts, and did not play football at Needham High School. He enrolled at Division III Middlebury College intending to play soccer, was cut from the varsity team as a freshman in 2003, and won the Panthers' kicking job the following year. He spent a graduate season at North Carolina State in 2007, making 16 of 18 field goals, and entered the NFL undrafted in 2008. His first professional field goal, for Baltimore in November 2008, travelled 54 yards. Madden NFL 10 rated him 59 for the 2009 season.

Seattle claimed him off waivers in September 2011. In 2013 he made 33 of 35 field goals and all 44 extra points, and the Seahawks beat Denver 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII; Madden NFL 25 rated him 81 for that season. He converted 31 of 37 in 2014, and Madden NFL 15 rated him 89 for that year, the highest figure of his career.

Hauschka signed with Buffalo in March 2017 and set the NFL record for consecutive field goals made from 50 yards or longer with a 50-yarder against the Chargers on November 19 of that season, one of seven he made from 50 or beyond that year. Madden NFL 18 rated him 76 for 2017. He retired in December 2020 with 264 field goals and 1,149 points.
