Vince Manuwai Madden Career Madden NFL 2010 - Peak 82 OVR

Vince Manuwai was born on July 12, 1980 in Honolulu and attended Farrington High School there. At Hawaii he started three years and did not allow a sack over his last 35 games as a starter, earning All-America recognition in 2002. Jacksonville drafted him in the third round, 72nd overall, in 2003, and he started 14 games as a rookie. Madden NFL 04 rated him 71 for that season.

Manuwai started every game at left guard from 2004 through 2006 and missed one in 2007, seasons in which the Jaguars rushed for 2,541 and 2,391 yards. Madden NFL 08 rated him 92 for the 2007 season. He tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his right knee in the 2008 opener at Tennessee and spent the rest of the year on injured reserve, with Madden NFL 09 rating him 94 for that season.

He returned in 2009 and started all 16 games. Justin Smiley took the left guard job in 2010, and Manuwai regained it when Smiley was injured in October. Madden NFL 11 rated him 76 for that season. Jacksonville released him on July 29, 2011, and he never played a regular-season game again. Manuwai played 111 games with 105 starts, all for Jacksonville, and died in Honolulu on November 4, 2018, at the age of 38.
