Draft Profile: Bio
Eryx Daugherty was a three-star defensive end at Brother Rice High School in Troy, Michigan, earning first-team all-state recognition. He signed with Boston College in the 2023 class and redshirted that season on the defensive line.

Daugherty moved to the offensive line in 2024 and played in three games, making his first start at right guard in the Pinstripe Bowl against Nebraska. In 2025 he started 10 games at left guard, missing two games through injury, and he gave up one sack and 12 pressures in 431 pass-blocking snaps.

Daugherty transferred to Louisville on 6 January 2026 and he has lined up at left guard for every game. No defender has sacked the quarterback against him in 503 snaps this season. He had a solid game against Florida State, but Wake Forest and SMU gave him trouble, and both of his penalties came in the SMU game.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Zero sacks allowed across 503 snaps at left guard
  • Good athlete for a guard, a former defensive end who moves well
  • Gave up only two pressures in a solid game against Florida State
  • Two-year starter at left guard for two ACC programs
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Committed both of his penalties this season against SMU
  • Wake Forest gave him trouble in a September loss
  • Only two seasons on offense after starting out as a defensive end
  • Does not generate much push as a drive blocker
  • Missed two games through injury during the 2025 season at Boston College
Scouting Report: Summary
Daugherty is an athletic guard who has made a quick transition from the defensive line. He moves well, has been a fixture for Louisville without allowing a sack, with a good game against Florida State.

However, he is still learning the position, and Wake Forest and SMU gave him problems in September. He lacks power as a run blocker, and he has played offense for only two seasons.

Overall, Daugherty is an improving, athletic lineman with upside. He projects as a priority free agent and may have eligibility left if he chooses to return.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
