Creed Humphrey was born on June 28, 1999 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and is a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. He played center at Oklahoma and was Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2019 and 2020. Kansas City drafted him in the second round in 2021, 63rd overall, and Madden NFL 22 rated him 68.
He started all 17 games as a rookie and has started every game since, 85 in five seasons without missing one. Madden NFL 23 moved him to 86 after a second-team All-Pro season, and he has made the Pro Bowl in each of the four years since. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2024 and again in 2025, seasons that carried his rating to 92 and then 94.
He started Super Bowl LVII and Super Bowl LVIII, both Kansas City wins, and Super Bowl LIX, a 40-22 loss to Philadelphia. In August 2024 he signed a four-year, $72 million extension, the largest for a center at the time, and has started at center for Kansas City since his rookie year.
