Michael Gallup Madden Career 2019-2025 - Peak 83 OVR

Michael Gallup took the junior-college route to Colorado State, where he became a consensus All-American and a Biletnikoff finalist, then went to Dallas in the third round in 2018. His second season was the high point, 1,107 yards as the perfect complement to Amari Cooper, a deep threat who stretched the field and gave the offense a genuine second option.

The Madden card rose toward that peak and then told a sadder story. He climbed from a rookie 73 to an 83 peak in Madden NFL 23, but the number by then was lagging the reality, because a torn ACL in January 2022 had already begun to take the burst that made him. The production fell off afterward, the 1,000-yard form never returning, and the grade eased back into the 70s, the card slowly admitting that the player who came back from the knee was not quite the one who went down.

He hung on for a couple more seasons of diminished numbers before Dallas released him, then drifted through stops with the Raiders and Washington.
