Michael Pierce Madden Career 2018-2025 - Peak 92 OVR

Michael Pierce came into the league in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of Samford who was never even invited to the Combine, then ran a 10-yard split at his Pro Day faster than any defensive lineman who was. Baltimore signed him, and for the better part of a decade a 355-pound wall stood in the middle of their front, eating double teams so the linebackers behind him could run free. He played for the Ravens from 2016 to 2019, signed with Minnesota for 2020 and 2021 (he opted out of the 2020 season during the pandemic), then returned to Baltimore through 2024.

In his final year he did something almost comically improbable for a man his size: he picked off a pass against Cleveland, becoming the heaviest player to record an interception in the NFL's tracked era. He retired in March 2025 after nine seasons.

His Madden numbers mirror the climb. He entered as a 79 in the 2017 edition, still a project, and by the 2019 game he had reached his ceiling of 92. The 2020 and 2021 releases held him at 91 before the fade to 88, 83, and 85 as the miles added up.
