With under a minute left in Super Bowl XLIX, Malcolm Butler read a slant at the goal line and jumped it, picking off Russell Wilson to save New England's title against Seattle. It remains one of the most famous plays in Super Bowl history, and it was made by an undrafted corner from West Alabama who had signed with the Patriots in 2014 after junior-college stops and a stretch working fast food. He won a second ring in Super Bowl LI, earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2015 and second-team All-Pro honors in 2016, and finished with 17 interceptions across seven seasons in New England and Tennessee.

His rating tells the rise. The 2015 edition had him at 76, and by the 2017 edition he peaked at 92 as a lockdown starter. One of the strangest chapters came in Super Bowl LII, when Bill Belichick benched him for nearly the entire game against Philadelphia, a decision never fully explained. He signed with Tennessee that offseason, and his later editions drifted into the high 70s.
