An undrafted guard who outran a scary knee report
Ronald Leary was a first-round talent at Memphis whose stock cratered over a degenerative knee condition, dropping him out of the 2012 draft entirely. Dallas signed him for a token bonus, and the knee held up fine.
Madden climbed him from a 62 to an 83 by the 2016 edition as he started at left guard for the lines that powered DeMarco Murray's rushing title and later Ezekiel Elliott's. He cashed it into a thirty-six-million-dollar deal with Denver in 2017, an undrafted guard who started for elite lines and got paid for it.
