Henry Hynoski came out of Pitt regarded as one of the best fullbacks in the 2011 class until a hamstring pull at the combine tanked his stock and sent him undrafted. The Giants signed him anyway, and by his rookie season he was clearing lanes for Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. In Super Bowl XLVI against New England, he did more than block. He caught two passes for 19 yards and pounced on a Hakeem Nicks fumble in the third quarter as the Giants held on 21-17.

The son of a fullback his father who played at Temple and was drafted by the Browns in 1975, Hynoski scored his only NFL touchdown on his 24th birthday against the Eagles in 2012. Injuries wore him down and the Giants released him in 2015, after which he moved into education and eventually became a high school principal in Pennsylvania. Madden treated him as a specialist whose stock climbed with the ring. He opened at 74 in the 2012 edition, jumped to 85, and reached a career-best 90 in the 2015 game, unusually high air for a lead-blocking fullback.
