Titans mainstay who won a ring beside his twin

For most of a decade Jason McCourty was a Tennessee institution, a sixth-round pick out of Rutgers who outran that low draft slot to become the Titans' most dependable cornerback. Taken 203rd overall in 2009, he set a career high with 103 tackles in 2011 and returned a fumble 77 yards for a touchdown against Seattle in 2013.

The moment most people remember came later. After a lost year in Cleveland in 2017, New England traded for him in 2018, reuniting him with his twin brother Devin. In Super Bowl LIII the two became the first set of twins to win a title together, and Jason made one of the defensive plays of the night, racing across the formation to bat away a would-be touchdown to Brandin Cooks in a 13-3 win over the Rams.

He played 13 seasons across four teams and retired with 18 interceptions. Madden charted the slow rise of an underrated man: a 68 in the 2010 edition, into the 80s by 2012, and a peak 89 in the 2014 game during his Tennessee prime. The number faded as he aged, down to 79 for 2021, but the ring arrived at the very back end anyway.
