Max Unger Madden Career 2010-2019 - Peak 92 OVR

Max Unger was the pivot of Seattle's most physical teams, snapping to Russell Wilson and clearing lanes for Marshawn Lynch on the way to the Super Bowl XLVIII rout of Denver. A second-round pick out of Oregon, 49th overall in 2009, the Hawaii native started all 130 games he played across ten seasons. He made first-team All-Pro in 2012 and earned three Pro Bowl selections.

His card reflected the peak years. He was a 75 as a rookie in the 2009 edition and rose into the 80s, and the 2013 edition graded him a 92, his best mark, just before the title run. In 2015 Seattle sent him to New Orleans as the centerpiece of the trade for tight end Jimmy Graham, a deal the Seahawks front office later admitted regretting. Unger made a third Pro Bowl with the Saints in 2018, then retired that offseason after a decade of durable play in the middle of the line.
