Morlon Greenwood Madden Career 2002-2009 - Peak 89 OVR

Morlon Greenwood was born in Jamaica and started 48 consecutive games at Syracuse before Miami drafted him in the third round, 88th overall, in 2001. He was a weightroom legend, a linebacker credited with a 415-pound bench and a 685-pound squat, and he turned that base into production. From his Dolphins years into his time in Houston, Greenwood strung together four consecutive seasons of more than 100 tackles, including 118 in 2007.

Madden was slow to notice, parking him at 63 in both the 2001 and 2002 editions. The climb came later, from 72 to 79 to 86, and his overall reached a peak 89 in Madden 2008, the year his Houston tackle totals finally forced the issue. He closed out with a short stop in Oakland in 2009. Never a household name, but a durable middle-of-the-defense presence whose numbers held up across seven pro seasons.
