James Hodgins Madden Career 2003-2006 - Peak 88 OVR

James Hodgins was born on April 30, 1977 in San Jose, California, played four seasons at San Jose State, and signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent after the 1999 draft. He played 15 games as a rookie and scored his first NFL touchdown on a one-yard run on November 28, 1999. The Rams won Super Bowl XXXIV that season. Madden NFL 2001 rated him 64.

Hodgins started 11 games at fullback in 2001 and played in all three postseason games, with a three-yard run and an eight-yard catch in the Super Bowl XXXVI loss to New England. Madden NFL 02 rated him 43. A broken foot kept him out of the first seven games of the 2002 season.

He signed a four-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals in March 2003 and caught 14 passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns that year, and Madden NFL 04 rated him 85. Madden NFL 05 rated him 91 for the 2004 season, which he spent on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Six games with the New York Jets in 2006 closed a career of 31 rushing yards, 178 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He became head coach at Berean Christian High School in Walnut Creek, California in 2013 and took over at Berkeley High School in 2019.
