Draft Profile: Bio
Blake Ivy was a four-star lineman at Clear Springs High School in League City, Texas, where ESPN ranked him 120th nationally and Under Armour tabbed him an All-American. Basketball and the shot put filled his other seasons, and he picked the Aggies over Texas and LSU in August 2023.Ivy logged 39 snaps across three appearances in his first college season. His 2025 workload grew to 138 snaps over 10 games, and he sat out three others for reasons the school did not disclose.
Ivy won the left guard job for the 2026 opener and started three of the Aggies' first five games, logging 209 snaps. He blocked well in the run game and allowed one pressure against Missouri State, but Kentucky got to him for three pressures and drew two flags from him. Texas A&M announced on 11 October that a practice injury would end his season.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Opened 2026 as Texas A&M's starting left guard
- Strong run blocker during his five games this season
- Allowed a single pressure across 53 snaps versus Missouri State
- Big-framed lineman ranked 120th in the nation by ESPN
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Out for the season after a practice injury in October
- Kentucky drew three pressures and two penalties out of him
- Owns only three career starts heading into 2027
- Average forty time for an interior offensive lineman
- Missed three games in 2025 for undisclosed reasons
Scouting Report: Summary
Ivy is a big, physical guard who claimed a starting spot at Texas A&M this fall. He was effective as a run blocker and held up well against Missouri State. However, a practice injury ended his campaign in October after only three starts. Kentucky gave him trouble, and he is an average athlete by NFL guard standards.
Overall, Ivy is a promising but unproven guard coming off an injury. He projects as a priority free agent and can return to Texas A&M in 2027.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
