Draft Profile: Bio
Harris Sewell started four years at Odessa Permian in Texas, lining up at right tackle, right guard and center, and was named first-team all-state. ESPN ranked him No. 85 nationally, and he enrolled at Clemson in January 2023.

Sewell started five of the 10 games he played as a 2023 freshman and three of 12 the following fall. The 2025 campaign produced nine starts, two at left guard and seven at right guard, playing 641 snaps but allowing 22 pressures.

Clemson moved Sewell to center for 2026, and he has opened every game at the position. His debut there came at LSU, and he logged 74 snaps at Cal as the Tigers rushed for 257 yards. Across 546 snaps this fall, no sacks have been charged to him, and he has allowed only five pressures. Chad Morris has called him an anchor of the offensive line.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • No sacks allowed in 546 snaps at center this season
  • Gave up just five pressures after shifting to center
  • Has started at center, left guard and right guard
  • Logged 74 snaps at Cal as Clemson ran for 257 yards
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Allowed 22 pressures as a guard in 2025
  • Flagged for three penalties, against Georgia Southern, Cal and Miami
  • Brand new to center as a full-time starter this year
  • LSU drew two pressures in his first start at the position
  • Started just nine games in any one season before 2026
Scouting Report: Summary
Sewell is a flexible interior blocker who has thrived since Clemson moved him to center. He is still without a sack allowed, has given up only five pressures, and his coaches see him as the anchor of the line.

However, he struggled at guard in 2025, giving up 22 pressures, and this is his first season at center. Officials have flagged him three times.

Overall, Sewell is an experienced, improving center with guard flexibility. He projects as a priority free agent who can compete for a backup interior role.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
