Draft Profile: Bio
Nate Frazier came to Athens from Mater Dei High School in Southern California as a consensus four-star recruit, ranked the No. 2 running back nationally by Rivals and selected to the All-American Bowl. He was also a standout sprinter, clocking a 10.58-second 100 meters as a junior. Frazier actually played receiver before switching to running back full-time midway through his junior year of high school.As a true freshman in 2024, Frazier worked into Georgia's rotation and took over lead duties, finishing with 671 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 133 carries. He earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors and punched in the game-winning two-point conversion in Georgia's eight-overtime win over Georgia Tech.
Frazier's sophomore season brought 947 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 173 attempts, plus 16 catches for 116 yards and a score. He earned All-SEC Third Team honors, posted a career-high 181 rushing yards against Mississippi State, and finished seventh in rushing yards among SEC backs. He closed the year with 86 yards and 42 receiving yards in the Sugar Bowl before exiting with an ankle injury.

However, the long runs come up modest for a sprinter, a sign the between-the-tackles vision is still catching up to the velocity, the pass protection is a work in progress, his average power will show more against NFL contact, and 173 carries is a featured share rather than a workhorse proof.Overall, Frazier is a quick, balanced back whose feel for the position is still arriving, and his top gear alone bends defensive geometry, but the vision and protection have to develop. He projects as a starting-caliber back with return and passing-down juice, with the ceiling of a lead back if the vision catches up to the speed and the floor of an explosive change-of-pace weapon.
