Scouting Report: Strengths
- Good stiff-arm. Craft runner. Sets up his blocks and senses defenders leaning, showing the ability to cut quickly to avoid them. Has experience, burst, and vision to be a kickoff returner.
- A balanced runner with good combination of wiggle and lower body strength. Possesses above average initial burst with natural explosion and start-and- stop ability to make guys miss - can turn on the jets in a flash.
- Harvey accelerates 0-to-60 and hits top speed fast enough to outrun angles. He’s also flexible and agile, able to keep the pedal to the floor as Harvey turns and weaves.
- Creative with good vision and patience, quick feet and smooth footwork to easily change direction and make sharp cuts to elude defenders in space. Very good lateral agility; difficult to square-up in tight areas with his smallish frame.
- He is elite as a receiver. Harvey runs routes as well as most receivers and has natural hands, snatching the ball away from his body.
- He’s a weapon in the screen game, quickly transitioning from receiver to runner and showing the twitch to make defenders miss in space.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Has a lean frame and lacks ideal bulk or muscle for the position. Doesn't have great strength, lacking a power element to his game to break many tackles.
- The lack of size also pops up in pass protection, where Harvey often struggles to stand up blitzers.
- Offers little in pass protection and poor technique cut blocking, fails to do more than slow down blitzers by laying down in front of them.
