BEST PASS BLOCKING RUNNING BACKS 2027 NFL Draft

2027 BEST PASS BLOCKING RUNNING BACKS

Pass protection is what gets a rookie back benched on third down. The grade scores blitz pickup, technique against a linebacker running downhill, and the pressures and sacks given up. Darren Sproles (Kansas State) and Giovani Bernard (North Carolina) were trusted in protection from day one, which is why they played early.

The table ranks this year’s draft-eligible running backs by pass blocking grade, alongside rushing, tackle-breaking, receiving, hands and overall rating.
