A five-star by Rivals who flipped from Oklahoma to USC when Lincoln Riley changed jobs, Brown was the No. 3 running back in his class and a Mater Dei product by way of Stockton, California. He played running back and receiver across two seasons at USC before transferring to Arizona State, where he found a featured role.Brown earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2025, rushing 185 times for 1,134 yards while adding 33 catches for 239 yards and two scores across twelve games. He forced 55 missed tackles and gained 607 yards after contact, a compact, explosive back with rare timed speed and receiving value. He committed to Texas out of the portal with one year of eligibility remaining, joining a third program as a proven dual-threat weapon. The first-team all-conference season was his most productive yet, pairing 1,100-plus rushing yards with the receiving value that made him a five-star recruit.
Scouting Report: Strengths

- Baylor bottled him up completely, a no-breakaway night that included a lost fumble.
Scouting Report: Summary
Speed is the resume. Brown is one of the fastest players in this class at any position, and the Colorado tape is what it looks like when that speed meets a crease: 254 yards on 22 carries, a road record for the program, with two runs that nobody on the field had an angle on. After a winding path from USC through an injury-lost first year in Tempe, he finally got a full season as the lead back and delivered more than eleven hundred yards, with nearly half the rushing production coming on explosive gains.The package around the speed is incomplete. He is small for a between-the-tackles role and gets swallowed when the front wins, as Baylor proved on a fumble-marred night that contained not a single breakaway. The receiving usage is heavy but the polish is not, with four drops, and pass protection is a problem nobody pretends otherwise about. His NFL down-to-down role has to be designed, not assumed.
He finishes his college career at Texas, a stage that will answer the remaining question about production against elite fronts. The projection is a space player and home-run threat who needs a creative coordinator: jet motion, outside zone, screens and matchup work from the slot. Backs with this gear always get drafted, and the ones who land with the right play caller outproduce their slot badly.
