Draft Profile: Bio
Max Anderson was a first-team TSWA Class 5A all-state lineman as a junior at Reedy High School in Frisco, Texas, and competed in the throwing events for the track team. He was a four-star recruit ranked No. 16 among interior offensive linemen and collected 22 scholarship offers before signing with Tennessee. His brother, Nate, is an offensive lineman at SMU.

Anderson played 47 snaps across two games while redshirting at Tennessee in 2024 and was charged with a sack. In 2025 he played 76 snaps at guard over three games and allowed one pressure. Neither season included a start.

Kentucky became his next stop in early 2026; three seasons of eligibility remained on his clock. Ourlads lists him as the second-string right tackle this fall, and he has not appeared in any box score found for this season. He has played 123 college snaps in all, none of them as a starter.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Good athlete for an offensive lineman, with a solid forty
  • Former four-star recruit ranked 16th among interior linemen
  • Allowed only one pressure on 76 snaps in 2025
  • Experience at guard for Tennessee and tackle at Kentucky
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Has played only 123 snaps in three college seasons
  • Second-string right tackle with no recorded 2026 action
  • Gave up a sack in limited snaps in 2024
  • Still without a start after three seasons in the SEC
  • Very little game film for scouts to evaluate
Scouting Report: Summary
Anderson is an athletic lineman who was a top interior recruit and has worked at guard and tackle. He held up in limited snaps at Tennessee in 2025.

However, his college total is just 123 snaps, and he sits behind the starters at Kentucky with no recorded action this season.

Overall, Anderson is a developmental lineman with good athletic traits but no starting record. He projects as a priority free agent and can play two more college seasons.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
