Junior-college journeyman to first-team All-Pro right tackle
Ryan Ramczyk's road to the first round ran through Winona State, two technical colleges, and Division III Wisconsin-Stevens Point before he ever set foot in Madison. One dominant season at Wisconsin was enough. The Saints took him 32nd overall in 2017, the same first round that brought them Marshon Lattimore at 11, and plugged him in at right tackle from day one.
He was an All-Rookie pick in 2017, a second-team All-Pro in 2018, and a first-team All-Pro in 2019, a year in which he did not allow a single sack. Another second-team nod came in 2020. He played all eight of his seasons in New Orleans and never really had a bad one. A worsening knee cost him all of 2024, and he announced his retirement in April 2025 rather than keep grinding through it.
In Madden he opened as a 78 in the 2017 edition and quickly climbed into elite territory, reaching a career-high 91 in the 2020 game and settling into an 89 for four straight editions, one of the steadiest ratings lines a lineman can have.
