Toledo rookie who led the NFL in rushing at 22
Hunt announced himself in a hurry. A third-round pick out of Toledo in 2017, he opened his rookie year on Thursday night against the defending champion Patriots with three touchdowns and a monster all-purpose night, then went on to lead the NFL in rushing with 1,327 yards. Rookie of the Year honors and a Pro Bowl trip followed.
The Chiefs released him in November 2018 after a video surfaced showing him shoving and kicking a woman in a hotel hallway. Cleveland signed him for 2019, and he spent five seasons with the Browns before returning to Kansas City in 2024. His career totals sit at 5,775 rushing yards and 55 rushing touchdowns.
Madden captured the meteoric start and the long plateau after. He was a 75 as a rookie in the 2017 edition, then jumped to 89 in the 2018 game on the strength of that rushing title and hit his ceiling of 90 in the 2019 edition. By the 2025 game, a 30-year-old complementary back, he was down to an 80.
