The red-zone giant chasing Jerry Rice's 1,000-yard streak
Evans came out of Texas A&M as Johnny Manziel's downfield target and went seventh overall to Tampa Bay in 2014. He never had a season under 1,000 yards. He strung together a record ten straight 1,000-yard seasons to open a career, passing Randy Moss's mark of seven and Tim Brown's nine, leaving only Jerry Rice's eleven ahead of him, then kept the streak alive past that.
At 6-foot-5 he became the franchise's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns, and the reliable red-zone weapon for Tom Brady on the team that won Super Bowl LV after the 2020 season.
Madden watched a rookie become a cornerstone. He entered at 78 in the 2014 edition, jumped to 87 the next year, and settled into the high 80s and low 90s for a decade. The number hit 92 in the 2020 and 2022 editions and reached a career-high 93 in the 2025 edition, a rare case of a receiver peaking well into his thirties.
