Jed Collins came to Washington State as a linebacker and left holding a school record for catches by a tight end, which tells you he was always willing to change jobs to stay on a roster. He went undrafted in 2008 and spent two years as an NFL nomad, cycling through Philadelphia, Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City, Arizona, and Tennessee before New Orleans signed him to the practice squad in September 2010.
