Alex Mack Madden Career 2010-2022 - Peak 92 OVR

For five seasons to start his career, Alex Mack did not miss an offensive snap. The Cleveland Browns took the Cal center 21st overall in 2009, and he became the anchor a mostly grim Browns era could build around, durable and cerebral, known for talking through blocking calls like a coach. A broken fibula against Pittsburgh in Week 6 of 2014 finally ended that ironman run.

He left for Atlanta in 2016 and helped power one of the great offenses of the decade, starting at center in Super Bowl LI, the game the Falcons led 28-3 before losing 34-28 to New England in overtime. A final season in San Francisco in 2021 put him back on a contender. He retired in 2022 with seven Pro Bowls, three second-team All-Pro nods, and 13 seasons behind him.

Madden treated him as a blue-chip fixture for a decade. He debuted at 79 in the 2009 edition, reached a career-high 92 in the 2014 game, and held in the high 80s and low 90s, including 91s in both the 2013 and 2017 editions, deep into his thirties.
