Vince Young Madden Career 2007-2011 - Peak 88 OVR

Vince Young was born on May 18, 1983, in Houston, Texas. He played college football at Texas, winning the Maxwell and Davey O'Brien awards and the BCS national championship in the 2005 season, and the Tennessee Titans drafted him third overall in 2006. He made 13 starts as a rookie, was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and was selected to the Pro Bowl. Madden NFL 07 rated him 82 for that 2006 season.

He started all 15 of his appearances in 2007. Madden NFL 09 rated him 88 for 2008, his highest figure, in a year he made one start after Kerry Collins took over the job. Madden NFL 10 rated him 68 for 2009, the season he regained the starting role on October 29 and won eight of his ten starts. On November 29, 2009, he threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Britt as time expired to beat the Arizona Cardinals 20-17, finishing with a career-high 387 passing yards, and he was selected to a second Pro Bowl.

Madden NFL 11 rated him 79 for 2010. The Titans released him on July 28, 2011, and he spent that season as a backup with the Philadelphia Eagles, making three starts. He did not play in another regular-season game and announced his retirement on June 14, 2014. Across six seasons he threw for 8,964 yards with 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions and rushed for 1,459 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
