Tim Jennings Madden Career 2007-2015 - Peak 90 OVR
A small corner with a ring who led the NFL in interceptions
Tim Jennings won a Super Bowl before anyone really noticed him. The Colts drafted the Georgia corner in the second round in 2006, and as a rookie he earned a ring on the Super Bowl XLI team that beat the Bears. His own breakout waited until he signed with Chicago, where alongside Charles Tillman he became a genuine ball hawk. In 2012 he led the entire NFL with nine interceptions, made the Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro, and became the first Bear to intercept a pass in four straight games since Dave Duerson in 1986. He added four more picks in 2013 and returned to the Pro Bowl.
Madden was slow to buy in, listing him in the 70s and even a pair of 68s in the 2009 and 2010 editions before Chicago changed the math. After his league-leading season the number leapt to a 90 in the 2013 edition, then held at 88 and 86 as he backed up those two Pro Bowl years. Released in 2015, he finished with a brief stop in Tampa Bay and later went into high school coaching.
