Khalif Barnes Madden Career 2006-2016 - Peak 90 OVR

Barnes protected quarterbacks' blind sides for more than a decade without much fanfare. Jacksonville drafted him 52nd overall in 2005 out of Washington, and he stepped in at left tackle almost immediately, starting 57 of a possible 60 games across four seasons and drawing the opponent's best pass rusher.

Oakland signed him in 2009, and there he showed his range, sliding between right tackle and guard as the Raiders needed. He even caught a touchdown pass in 2010 after checking in as an eligible receiver, a rare treat for a lineman. Short stints with New Orleans and Arizona closed out a career of 154 games and 117 starts.

Madden treated him as a solid, unspectacular pro. He debuted as a 76 in the 2005 edition and climbed steadily through his Jacksonville prime, reaching a high of 90 in the 2008 game. Once he moved to Oakland and bounced around the line, the number settled back into the mid-70s, where it stayed for the rest of the run.
