You build a draft on nights like this. Dashawn Spears had no business being available in pick No. 37, and the Giants did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. If Oatis pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
