Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Has the agility, technique, and size to contribute early in his professional career. Quick, active hands to latch on to defenders.
  • Quick out of his stance with the footwork to be effective in front of screens. Willing to get out in front of ballcarriers to take out defensive backs and linebackers.
  • Outstanding on reach blocks, showing good initial quickness and flexibility to seal the backside. He’s a heady player who is quick to recognize and react to twists and stunts up front, and Green shows a good sense of timing on combo blocks.
  • In the run game, he shows good burst off the line of scrimmage, with the ability to win at the point of attack. Green has enough speed and athleticism to move to the second level and land blocks.
  • He’ll consistently finish blocks, dropping on defenders when he has them on the ground. Green shows good awareness reacting to twists and stunts as a pass protector, and he has the strength to anchor against bigger defensive linemen.
  • Shows excellent awareness against twists and stunts, and he has the strong, flexible core and wide base to catch and handle moving defenders.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • His hands aren’t violent enough to stand pass rushers up early in the down, and Green generally plays with poor balance.
  • Is a little too much of a waist bender, and he doesn’t play with ideal power and functional strength. Most concerning - he often gets caught dropping his head, a bad habit that will have to be corrected.
  • He’ll have trouble with elite quickness at the next level.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
