Missouri moved him to left tackle two weeks before the opener, and by December the Associated Press called him first-team All-SEC. Green allowed seven pressures across 367 pass-blocking snaps in his first year on the blindside, carrying 324 pounds that absorb bull rushes without conceding the corner, and grading among the class's best in protection with the run work close behind. The former Oklahoma four-star has improved every season since transferring home, the arrow scouts trust most.

The file's caveats are about sample, not skill. He owns exactly one year of tackle film against a career mostly played at guard, the opening night against Central Arkansas was strangely his shakiest pass-blocking tape of the season, and Alabama's front was the lone heavyweight that consistently bent his run blocking. None of it dents the trajectory; all of it explains why he went back for a senior year rather than testing a crowded tackle market.

That return is the league's gain and Missouri's. A second full season at left tackle should settle the only real question, whether the two-week conversion was a revelation or a very good guard playing tackle well, and the early returns argue revelation. He projects as a first-round swing piece who can start at three spots immediately, with a left tackle's ceiling and a Pro Bowl guard's floor, the kind of dual outcome evaluators rarely get to bank on.
