Draft Profile: Bio
Jordan Seaton grew up in Washington, D.C., playing three varsity seasons at St. John's College High School, where he helped win back-to-back WCAC Championships. He earned MaxPreps All-American honors three straight years before transferring to IMG Academy as a senior, starting at left tackle on a squad that went 10-0 against a national schedule. Every major recruiting service rated him a consensus five-star and the top offensive tackle in the 2024 class.

Seaton signed with Colorado and stepped into the starting lineup as a true freshman, becoming the first offensive tackle to start a season opener for the Buffaloes. He started all 13 games that year, collected Freshman All-American nods from PFF, 247 Sports, and On3, and earned Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors from College Football News.

As a sophomore in 2025, he earned All-Big 12 Second Team recognition and midseason All-American selections before a late-season injury ended his year after nine starts. Following the season, Seaton entered the transfer portal and committed to LSU, where he will play under Lane Kiffin with two remaining years of eligibility.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Pass-protection tape sits in the class's top handful, with two sacks in nine games.
  • Former No. 1 tackle recruit who started as a true freshman, a two-year blindside vet at twenty.
  • Quick-set timing and rare snap quickness for 330 pounds.
  • Handled Houston's speed package with the season's cleanest protection tape.
  • The nation's most coveted portal lineman, landing at LSU for the 2026 stage.
  • Two full seasons of starting film before his third college year begins.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • A thirty-point split separates his run blocking from the protection work.
  • Missed Colorado's final three games injured, ending the year on a medical note.
  • Utah game was a two-sack rough night that the season never fully outran.
  • The pass-first profile needs an offense, and now a third scheme, to hide the run work.
Scouting Report: Summary
The protection tape is precocious and the resume matches: the No. 1 tackle recruit in his cycle, a true-freshman starter at left tackle, and now two full seasons of blindside film before age twenty-one. Seaton's pass-blocking tape sits in the class's top handful, built on snap quickness rare for 330 pounds and set timing that handled Houston's speed package on his cleanest night. When January came, he was the most coveted lineman in the portal, and LSU won the bidding.

The split in his game is wide enough to drive a scheme through. His run blocking tape roughly thirty points below the protection work, a finesse profile in a mauler's body, the Utah night put two sacks on film that linger, and an injury took his final three games, ending the season on a medical note. A third offense in three years now has to harness the talent without papering over the half of the position he has not yet learned.

The bet is straightforward: pass protection is the expensive skill and he already has it, two years younger than most of this class. If LSU's SEC slate adds even average run-game physicality, the first-round conversation resumes immediately, because twenty-year-old blindside protectors with this pedigree do not reach day two often. He projects as a rising premium pick whose 2026 tape will either complete the player or define his ceiling.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
