Quinnen Williams was born on December 21, 1997 in Birmingham, Alabama, and played two seasons at Alabama after a redshirt year, winning the Outland Trophy and unanimous All-American honors in 2018. The New York Jets selected him third overall in the 2019 draft. He recorded 2.5 sacks in 13 games as a rookie, and Madden NFL 20 rated him 80 for 2019.
His 2022 season produced 12 sacks and 55 tackles, a first-team All-Pro selection and his first Pro Bowl, and Madden NFL 23 rated him 86 for that year. He signed a four-year, $96 million extension with the Jets on July 13, 2023, then started all 17 games that season, which Madden NFL 24 rated him 93 for.
On November 4, 2025 the Jets traded him to Dallas for defensive tackle Mazi Smith, a 2026 second-round pick and a conditional 2027 first-round pick. He played seven games for the Cowboys and was named to a fourth consecutive Pro Bowl that December, a season Madden NFL 26 rated him 91 for. He later agreed to a three-year, $105.9 million extension with Dallas. Through the 2025 season he had 343 tackles and 41.5 sacks in 105 games.
