Jacoby Brissett: Patriots third-rounder, 47-completion record
Jacoby Brissett was born on December 11, 1992, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He played two seasons at Florida, transferred to NC State, and passed for 2,662 yards as a senior in 2015. The New England Patriots took him 91st overall in 2016. On September 22, 2016, he made his first start and ran 27 yards for a touchdown in a 27-0 win over Houston. Madden NFL 17 listed him at 70 overall that season.
New England traded him to Indianapolis for Phillip Dorsett in September 2017, and he started 15 games in place of the injured Andrew Luck, throwing for 3,098 yards. Madden NFL 19 gave him a 76 overall for 2018, his highest figure. After Luck retired, Brissett threw for 2,942 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2019, including 326 yards and four touchdowns against Houston on October 20.
He then played one season each for Miami, Cleveland, Washington and New England again, carrying a 67 overall in Madden NFL 22 for 2021 and a 72 in Madden NFL 24 for 2023. Arizona signed him in March 2025. On November 16, 2025, against San Francisco, he completed 47 of 57 passes for 452 yards, the most completions in a regular-season game in NFL history. Through the 2025 season he had 14,766 passing yards, 76 touchdowns and 32 interceptions.
