DaQuan Jones: 12 seasons at DT for Titans, Panthers and Bills
DaQuan Jones was born December 27, 1991 in Johnson City, New York, played at Johnson City High School, and was a first-team All-Big Ten selection at Penn State in 2013. The Tennessee Titans drafted him in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft with the 112th pick. He appeared in seven games as a rookie and recorded his first sack in Week 17 against Indianapolis. Madden NFL 15 listed him at 66 for the 2014 season.
Jones started all 16 games in 2015 and 2016 and recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown on January 1, 2017. A torn biceps ended his 2017 season on December 4 after 12 starts and a career-high 3.5 sacks, a year Madden NFL 18 rated him 78 for. He signed a three-year, $21 million extension on March 14, 2018 and started all 16 games; Madden NFL 19 put him at 81 for that season. He played nose tackle in 2019 and 2020.
He started all 17 games for Carolina in 2021 and signed with Buffalo in March 2022. A pectoral injury sent him to injured reserve on October 11, 2023; he was activated in December and finished with seven starts. He signed a two-year extension on March 12, 2024 and started all 16 games, a season Madden NFL 25 listed him at 79 for. Through the 2025 season he had 372 tackles, 20 sacks and one defensive touchdown across 12 seasons.
