Teddy Bridgewater Madden Career 2015-2024 - Peak 82 OVR

Teddy Bridgewater was born on November 10, 1992, in Miami, Florida. He played three seasons at Louisville and led Division I in completion percentage in 2013. Minnesota took him 32nd overall, the final pick of the first round, in 2014. He started 12 games as a rookie for 2,919 yards, won the Pepsi Rookie of the Year award, and was listed at 77 in Madden NFL 15 for that season.

He started all 16 games in 2015 and threw for 3,231 yards. Against Chicago on December 20, 2015 he completed 17 of 20 passes for 231 yards and four touchdowns, and Minnesota clinched the NFC North in the season finale. Madden NFL 16 rated him 82 for that year, which ended with his first Pro Bowl selection. A non-contact injury in practice on August 30, 2016 tore his ACL and dislocated his knee; he attempted two passes over the next two seasons.

He went 5-0 in five starts for New Orleans in 2019, then signed with Carolina and set career highs of 3,733 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2020, when he won the Art Rooney Award. Denver, Miami, Detroit and Tampa Bay followed. He announced his retirement in December 2023, the season for which Madden NFL 24 had him at 55, and coached his old high school, Miami Northwestern, to a state title before returning to Detroit a year later. Through the 2025 season he had 15,182 passing yards, 75 touchdowns and 47 interceptions.
