Jon Stinchcomb Madden Career 2004-2011 - Peak 90 OVR
Georgia's steady right tackle behind the Saints' first title
Both Stinchcomb brothers turned Georgia offensive line jobs into NFL careers, and Jon, the younger one, spent his entire eight seasons in a single uniform. New Orleans took him in the second round of the 2003 draft, 37th overall, then waited while he found his footing. By 2006 he had the right tackle job locked down, and he held it through the best stretch in franchise history.
His signature season came in 2009, when he helped keep Drew Brees upright on the way to Super Bowl XLIV, a 31-17 win over Indianapolis that gave New Orleans its first championship.
His Madden numbers followed that same slow climb. He opened as a 68 in the 2003 edition and sat in the low 70s for years before jumping to a 79 in 2008 and cresting at a 90 in the 2010 game, the reward for a title run, before settling to 88 the next year.
