Jamie Williams Madden Career 1992-1995 - Peak 82 OVR

Jamie Williams was born on February 25, 1960 in Vero Beach, Florida, and played four years of football and basketball at Nebraska, earning All-Big Eight honors in 1981 and 1982. The New York Giants drafted him in the third round, 63rd overall, in 1983. He spent that first season with the St. Louis Cardinals and the next five with the Houston Oilers.

He joined San Francisco in 1989 and was on the roster for the Super Bowl XXIV win that season. Madden NFL 92 put him at a calculated 36 for the 1991 season, when he started seven of sixteen games, and Madden NFL 94 put him at a calculated 26 for 1993, both figures derived from his attributes rather than a stored overall. He appeared in all 16 games in each of his five seasons with the 49ers.

Williams played his final year with the Los Angeles Raiders in 1994, and Madden NFL 95 put him at a calculated 82 for that season. Over 12 seasons he caught 181 passes for 1,980 yards and 11 touchdowns. He worked with Oliver Stone on the film Any Given Sunday and received a doctorate of education from the University of San Francisco in 2000.
