The Bears got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bears spent the 163rd overall pick on Isaiah Jatta, a name most had 35 spots down the list. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Muhammad steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
