C.J. Mosley LB - Jets Madden Career 2015-2025 - Peak 90 OVR
Alabama's Butkus winner who ran two defenses
C.J. Mosley walked into Baltimore in 2014 as the first Ravens rookie to start on defense in years and immediately played like the veteran in the huddle, piling up 133 tackles, two interceptions and a Pro Bowl nod. Drafted 17th overall out of Alabama, where he won two national titles and the 2013 Butkus Award, he became the green-dot linebacker who set the front and made the checks.
In 2019 the Jets handed him five years and 85 million dollars to do the same in New York. A groin injury wrecked that debut, and he opted out of the 2020 season during the pandemic, but he returned to make the Pro Bowl again in 2023. He earned five in all before retiring in June 2025 on his 33rd birthday.
He opened as a 76 in the 2014 edition, climbed to 89 by the 2017 game, and after years bouncing between the low and high 80s he hit a career-best 90 in the 2024 version, a nod to how long he stayed the standard at his position.
