Reagan Maui'a Madden Career 2009-2012 - Peak 89 OVR

Reagan Mauia's football story is one of transformation. He arrived at Hawaii as a 351-pound nose guard and left as a 295-pound fullback, a conversion that made him a draftable prospect. Born in American Samoa, he was picked by Miami in the sixth round, 181st overall, in 2007.

The NFL career itself was brief and nomadic. He spent 2007 with the Dolphins, 2008 with Cincinnati, and 2009 through 2012 bouncing on and off the Arizona Cardinals roster, mostly as a short-yardage battering ram and special-teamer. His career rushing total was five yards.

That makes his Madden line a small curiosity. The 2008 edition listed him at 89, a lofty number for a blocking fullback who barely touched the ball, before reality set in and the 2011 game marked him down to 69. In 2010 he received a Samoan matai title, Tuioti, from his mother's village.
