Draft Profile: Bio
Micahi Danzy ran for 1,809 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior at Florida High in Tallahassee, though injuries cut his senior year to five games. A four-star athlete, he was also an elite sprinter who won the 2023 Junior Olympics 400 meters and state titles at 200 and 400 meters.Danzy redshirted at running back in 2024 and switched to receiver in 2025, making eight starts and catching 27 passes for 571 yards and three touchdowns while scoring three more times on the ground. Running for the Florida State track team, he clocked 44.38 seconds in the 400 meters at the 2025 ACC Championships, setting conference and school records.
Danzy chose to come back for 2026 and has 23 catches for 401 yards and three touchdowns. He hauled in a 44-yarder on the opening drive against New Mexico State, gained 89 yards on three grabs at Alabama and posted four receptions for 108 yards and a score against Clemson. Mike Norvell praised the growth he showed over the summer.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Track speed that produced an ACC-record 44.38 in the 400 meters
- Posted 108 yards and a touchdown on four catches against Clemson
- Averages more than 17 yards on each of his catches this season
- Also a threat as a runner, with three rushing scores in 2025
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Dropped four passes this season, including two at Louisville
- Miami kept him off the stat sheet in the double-overtime loss
- Route running remains raw after his move from running back
- Narrow frame that could be jammed at the line by bigger corners
- Hauled in only four of his eight targets in the Louisville game
Scouting Report: Summary
Danzy is among the fastest athletes in the country, a converted running back with world-class track times. He creates big plays, as his 108 yards against Clemson and his long catches at Alabama show. However, he is still developing as a route runner, and four drops this season point to unreliable hands. Miami kept him without a catch, and his frame is narrow.
Overall, Danzy is a speed prospect with upside as a receiver and returner. He projects as a priority free agent whose stock could jump at the combine.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
