Moose Muhammad III from Myers Park High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Muhammad III opted to join Texas A&M.In 2020 as a freshman Muhammad III saw action in just 2 games for the Aggies and didn't feature in the passing game.
As a sophomore in 2021 he played 8 games and had just 10 catches for 153 yards for an average of 15.3 yards per catch, with 4 TDs, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 139.7.
As a junior in 2022 he played 9 games and hauled in 38 catches for 609 yards for an average of 16.0 yards per catch, with 4 TDs, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 119.4.

- Muhammad tracks the ball well downfield and consistently runs under long throws.
- Has good body strength to squirm out of tackles with the coordination to maneuver his frame between defenders.
- His long arms allow him to play bigger than his size, and Muhammad has a frame that can carry a little more weight.
- He’s extremely dangerous in the open field, showing the vision and creativity to run through entire defenses.
- He also proved to be a force in catch-and-run situations. A violent runner who transitions upfield quickly after the catch, he has the speed to pick up chunks of yardage once he’s broken the first tackle.
- He accelerates quickly and possesses good straight-line speed. He shows solid ball-tracking skills and body control downfield, able to adjust to the off-target throw.
- Muhammad has strong hands and is extremely competitive, and he has an innate sense of timing when it comes to elevating and high-pointing balls.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Muhammad seems comfortable in traffic to the point where Muhammad doesn’t make the effort to create separation.
- Does not always use his hands to secure deep throws, allowing the ball into his pads and chest.
- Muhammad doesn’t have the ability as a run blocker or the violent run-after-catch ability.
