Draft Profile: Bio
TJ Abrams caught 34 passes for 558 yards and 11 touchdowns and ran for six more scores as a senior at Fort Myers Dunbar, helping the team reach the 2023 state semifinals. A four-star receiver, he was a Florida State commit before flipping to Florida, and he also considered Georgia, LSU, Miami and Tennessee.Abrams redshirted in 2024, catching two passes in five games, including a 31-yard grab in the Gasparilla Bowl against Tulane. In 2025 he played in 10 games with one start, at Kentucky, and caught 13 or 14 passes for about 200 yards, with three catches for 76 yards at Ole Miss.
Abrams re-signed with Florida under new coach Jon Sumrall and has played in each of Florida's eight games this season, starting two. His season began with a 63-yard catch against Florida Atlantic and made his first start of the year at Missouri, catching three passes for 55 yards and his first college touchdown.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Elite speed that lets him run past defenders on vertical routes
- Hauled in a 63-yard pass against Florida Atlantic
- Scored his first college touchdown in the game at Missouri
- Has caught 11 of 16 targets and has no drops in 2026
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Only two starts across his three college seasons so far
- South Carolina held him to two catches for 14 yards
- Played just five snaps at Texas in October
- Small frame that limits him against physical outside corners
- Used mostly as a reserve during the 2025 season
Scouting Report: Summary
Abrams is a fast, sure-handed receiver who has worked his way into a bigger role at Florida. He has elite speed and big-play ability, as his 63-yard catch against Florida Atlantic and touchdown at Missouri showed. However, he has made only two starts in three seasons, and his snaps have dropped in recent weeks, with five at Texas. He is small for the outside, and his numbers remain modest.
Overall, Abrams is a speedy role player who has not yet broken through. He projects as a priority free agent and needs a larger role to build his stock.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
