Scouting Report: Strengths
- Edwards has very good vision and a knack for picking out cut-back lanes and then breaking offchunks of yardage.
- He’s patient, letting blocks develop then accelerating. Edwards runs with a good forward lean and consistently falls forward.
- He’s not for everyone, but Edwards is an electrifying playmaker and has a chance to be an impact player in a limited role at the next level.
- Rare straight-line speed. Blur in the open field and a matchup nightmare because of his versatility and unique skills set. Natural playmaker. Goes from zero to 60 in a blink, with the sudden acceleration and lateral agility to produce running inside.
- He’s a natural pass catcher, at his best pulling in swing passes and heading upfield. He’s a natural in the screen game as well. His hands are good enough that he can line up in the slot.
- A smooth, loose athlete with very good speed,he is a weapon in space.
- He’s a quality receiver with soft hands, and he shows a good feel for catching and transitioning upfield in the screen game.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Edwards seems comfortable in traffic to the point where Edwards doesn’t make the effort to create separation.
- Edwards doesn’t have the ability as a run blocker or the violent run-after-catch ability.
- Size will be a detriment between the tackles at the next level. Lacks the strength to push the pile or break off NFL linebacker tackles inside. Can be brought down or knocked back by strong arm tackles. Can be steamrolled by NFL defensive ends or leapt in a single bound by most pass rushers if he attempts to chip block.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
