Draft Profile: Bio
Chance Robinson helped St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale win a state title in 2022 and caught 36 passes for 513 yards and 11 touchdowns in his last prep season. He was a four-star recruit in the 2024 class and is one of four brothers who play football.Robinson spent two seasons at Miami but did not catch a pass. He missed time with an injury in his first season and was out for the Florida State and Louisville games in October 2025 for undisclosed reasons. He committed to NC State on 9 January 2026.
Robinson has 12 catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns in eight games this season. He caught three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown against Wake Forest on 10 October and four passes for 76 yards and a score against California on 31 October. His quarterback, CJ Bailey, said fans should expect to see a dog.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Caught four passes for 76 yards and a touchdown against California
- Won all six of his contested targets this season
- Scored on a catch against Wake Forest in October
- Runs well enough to separate outside, with a good forty time
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Only 12 catches in eight games this season
- Did not catch a pass in two seasons at Miami
- Stanford held him without a catch on four targets
- Dropped a pass in the September game against Richmond
- Gained just 28 yards after the catch on 12 receptions
Scouting Report: Summary
Robinson is a talented outside receiver who has started to produce at NC State. He has good speed and strong hands, winning all six of his contested targets, and he scored against both Wake Forest and California. However, his production is still modest, with 12 catches this season, and he did not catch a pass in two years at Miami. He gains little after the catch, and Stanford kept him quiet.
Overall, Robinson is a promising receiver who is just getting started. He projects as a priority free agent, and another season at NC State could help him build on this one.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
