Draft Profile: Bio
Drelon Miller caught 155 passes for 3,571 yards and 43 touchdowns at Silsbee High School in Southeast Texas and earned Class 4A player of the year honors in his junior season. A four-star All-American Bowl selection who also competed in basketball and track, he decommitted from Texas A&M in October 2023 and signed with Colorado. His father, Chris, played basketball at Texas Southern.

Miller caught 32 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns in his 2024 freshman season, making three starts in 13 games. He was a seven-game starter in 2025 and caught 20 passes before moving to running back in the fifth week of the season.

Miller transferred to Baylor for 2026 and has played a limited role. He caught a 22-yard touchdown against Prairie View A&M, had three catches for 31 yards against his old team, Colorado, and caught two passes for 44 yards at UCF. His receivers coach has called him a big man who can move.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Caught two passes for 44 yards in the October win at UCF
  • Versatile enough to play receiver or running back
  • Strong frame that helps him win contested catches
  • Moves well for a bigger receiver, testing well in the forty
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Limited role, with only 69 receiving snaps this season
  • Has only seven catches in eight games for Baylor
  • Dropped five passes during his final season at Colorado in 2025
  • Production fell from 32 catches in 2024 to 20 in 2025
  • Not targeted against Louisiana Tech and thrown to once against TCU
Scouting Report: Summary
Miller is a big, versatile receiver who also has experience at running back. He has good speed for his size and can win contested catches, as his touchdown against Prairie View A&M showed.

However, his role at Baylor has been very limited, with just seven catches this season. His production has fallen each year since 2024, and he dropped five passes in 2025.

Overall, Miller is a versatile athlete without a defined role. He projects as a priority free agent and needs a bigger role to raise his stock.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
