Draft Profile: Bio
Trevor Goosby came to Texas from Melissa High School as a three-star recruit in the 2023 class, flipping from an early TCU commitment. He earned District 7-5A Offensive Lineman of the Year as a senior and played in the 2022 U.S. Army Bowl. After a 2023 redshirt, injuries to Kelvin Banks Jr. and Cameron Williams pressed him into the 2024 lineup, when he logged 319 snaps across 15 games with late-season starts at both tackle spots, including the SEC Championship against Georgia.Goosby took over as the Longhorns' full-time left tackle in 2025, starting all 13 games and allowing three sacks while protecting quarterback Arch Manning, and earned first-team All-SEC recognition. He made Bruce Feldman's Freaks List for his offseason testing, and he capped the season in the Citrus Bowl, where Texas beat Michigan 41-27 for its 10th win of the year.
In January 2026, Goosby announced he would return to Texas for another season. His younger brother Austin, a five-star guard, signed with the Longhorns' basketball program in November 2025.
