Draft Profile: Bio
Basketball came first for Zereoue Williams. He was a second-team all-state forward as a junior at Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix and barely played football before Utah offered him in October of his senior year, beating out Florida State, Arizona State and Oregon State. He was the first player to sign in the Utes' 2021 class. The development curve was slow and interrupted. An injury in a fall camp scrimmage cost him the 2023 season, and he appeared in only two games in 2024. He got his chance at left tackle in the 2025 Las Vegas Bowl, a 44-22 win over Nebraska. He did not allow a pressure that season.
With first-round picks Caleb Lomu and Spencer Fano gone, Williams added 30 pounds in the offseason and took over as the starting left tackle in 2026. He has started all eight games without allowing a sack and gave up one pressure in 82 snaps against Kansas as Utah climbed into the top 15.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Mirrors speed rushers to the corner with smooth, basketball-trained feet and patient hands
- Has not allowed a sack in eight starts, including 82 snaps against Kansas
- Tall frame lets him catch and steer rushers before they reach his chest
- Added mass this offseason shows up in a firmer anchor against bull rushes
- Stays square in his pass set and rarely lunges, even when rushers stem inside
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Run blocking trails his pass protection, with too many drive blocks that stall at contact
- Pad level rises in the run game, costing him leverage against shorter defensive ends
- Climbing to the second level is inconsistent and linebackers slip off his reach blocks
- Houston's rush got three pressures on him, the most of any opponent this season
- Only one season of starting tape, after an injury and a deep depth chart limited his first five seasons
Scouting Report: Summary
Williams is a blind-side pass protector first, and the 2026 tape is clean in a way few first-year starters manage. He sets with patience, uses his size to catch rushers early and moves his feet like the forward he used to be, which is why Kansas, Colorado and Iowa State combined for three pressures against him. The added weight has helped him sit down against power without losing the movement skills that make him interesting. However, his run blocking has not caught up. He plays tall, his drive blocks tend to stall rather than finish, and his angles to the second level are hit and miss. There is also very little starting tape behind this season, and a lost 2023 to injury means teams will want a full medical picture.
Overall, Williams has the frame, feet and pass-pro instincts that offensive line coaches like to mold, but his game is a season old. He projects as a developmental fifth-round left tackle with a path to a backup tackle job by his second or third year if the run blocking catches up.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
